What did you guys think of the plans they unveiled tonight? I like the outside and concourse, but I'm not sure about the seating

What's going to be the capacity reduction? Looks like we could lose about a 1,000 seats or more. Not a problem though as season ticket sales aren't going to be much higher than they are now and we have several thousand empty seats every game. Even if we went down to 8,000 it wouldn't be a problem.....as long as the arena is nicer and more functional.

Guess we are hitched to that building. It?s not awful as far as old arenas go.

Seems like a waste of money to me. I love the hump except for the exterior which they aren't changing. And the concourse could use more room but it's not that big of a deal. I hope it doesn't hurt the noise level.

UGA did the same thing to Stegeman over the years. It was built in '64 and they have made it nice and modern. If you aren't expanding seating, there is no real reason to junk the main bones of the Hump if you don't need to.

Which we could have sky Boxes, even though I will never be able to afford one. But, they would be a nice touch, and possibly free up the corporate seat tickets that go unused and empty during the season. However, I don't think structurally it could be done.

I'm afraid we're going to lose some of the loudness. Love the concourse renovations but I wish they wouldn't do much to the inside.
