If that would have been a bama lb, they would have overturned the decision then fined and penalized Fitz for leaving his head on the way of a helpless defensive player.

Here’s an idea. Why the hell call a blitz there in the first place when you know we can’t pass? The game was 19-3 at that point and over. They could have rushed 3 and Fitz would have still thrown the pick. Made no sense to me when you basically forced the refs to make a call there. Serves them right.

I'm really glad the SEC didn't overturn this for two reasons:

1. It would've set precedent & opened a massive can of worms every time someone was ejected for targeting

2. It pisses me off that a big deal was made of this due to it effecting LSU & Bama when this sort of thing happens most weeks in the SEC to other teams & nothing is ever said about it.
