2009: Lost to LSU but should have won; terrible loss because we had it in our grasp. It still burns, but it was a game that fueled hope.
2018: Lost to LSU but should have won; terrible loss because we apparently didn't even try all our weapons. It was a game that diminished hope.
2009: 5-7, missed a bowl game but still one of the most exciting seasons in memory because of the visible improvement throughout the season. Momentum building; the proudest I have ever been of a 5-7 team.
2018: Who knows? We might somehow claw our way to a paltry bowl, but the season so far is one of the most uninspiring displays of football in memory because of the visible deterioration of our program's momentum.
2009: Beat OM to finish the season!

I freaking hate Sundays this season.
