the sleeting, snowy weather reminds me of our game against Arky in Starkvegas years ago for the SEC-West championship. Awesome memory!!

Why? We lost that game.

No we didn't. Hazelwood nailed the FG late in the 4th Qtr to send us to Atlanta against UT in 1998.

Sleeting and snowing like crazy that day but Jackie had us on our way to Atlanta.

I recall him missing the FG in the mud and we lost the game in OT. We went to Shreveport instead of Atlanta, and played Texas A&M in the "Snow Bowl".

No, Madkin drove us down the field to have Hazelwood nail a FG (albeit it was close over the goal post) to give us a 22-21 lead with 7 seconds left. We went on to stomp Ole Miss 28-6 in Oxford the next week and go to Atlanta (over Arkansas due to our win over them).

We then lost to UT in the SEC Championship game and went to the Cotton Bowl.

Anyway, it's a moot point now b/c the sun has come out in Wisconsin... lol.

98 the weather was nice/decent. 2000 was the sleet and cold.

Go back and look. I was at both.

That was 2000. 98 we have decent weather.

You have the wrong game. The weather game was in 2000 and we lost.

I was there. No sleet. No snow. Just cold.

Sort of confused.....but wasn't this the game where we had a RB dive for the winning TD at the endzone pylon marker and the ball came out of his hand (ala what happened to Auburn RB against us this year) and Arkansas got the touchback to save their ass?

Man. Way off. That was the year Nick Bell died. Maybe 2010 or 2011? Great game and atmosphere but we lost.
RB was Vick Ballard.
1998 was nice weather and we won to win the SEC West. 2000 was the shitty weather and we lost. Arkansas beat LSU in the same type weather that year.

No, no I remember it well. Will Redmond jumped up and sealed the game with the interception! For the life of me I don't know how he caught it in all that snow**

Yep, agree now, still a good day followed by the not-so-good 2 years later when we lost in the sleet.

I was the first of 3 to tell you that you were wrong, but were glad that you agree as if you live in alternative universe, lol.
