This is the year we have all been waiting on as this team has: talent, experience, depth, and a big time coach leading the way. I pray we don’t somehow screw it up.........

Well, it was just a scrimmage, but we beat a top 20 team on a neutral court by 15 despite being down at the half, so we're looking good to start.

If ole miss finishes 14TH. The league is going to be as good as it has ever been and I mean it going to be great. no way they finish 14th

Admiral Schofield and Grant Williams are 2 players we simply cannot handle. I kind of figure UT will challenge KY for the title. Those 2 players are the best tandem the Volunteers have ever had since the Earnie and Bernie Show. I think we have a better chance beating KY than UT. Matchups like the Admiral and Williams just dont favor us for some reason.

I wouldn't say that just yet, Pit. It will be interesting to see Ado's progress in the weight room from this past off-season. I thought last year that if the guy could add more muscle and another 15 lbs, he could develop into a major defensive presence underneath that we haven't seen since Varnardo (and Dampier before that).

To me, Ado's improvement can be a major separator between us and a lot of other teams this year. Cant wait till we tip it off.

Good points...and we have added substantial muscle in the paint also. JT is a physical beast, albeit limited offensively. I don't see us getting pushed around in the paint near as much this year as we have seen.

IF, and it's a big if, Perry or Woodard could emerge and be able to hold his own with Schofield we match up well with them everywhere else. Remember, we have EJ who can just hack the hell out of Williams and beat him up to chew up some minutes and give Ado rest.

That will be JT's job...We need EJ to step up and give us some offensive production.
