Bill Connelly did a short article (https://www.sbnation.com/college-football/2018/10/5/17933736/auburn-mississippi-state-2008-game-preview-3-2) about the MSU-Auburn game in which talks about how bad the teams' offenses are right now and compares the situation to the 2008 3-2 game. There's not too much new information in the article, though I didn't realize how bad Auburn's offense had been this year.

But the gold, at least to me, was the video he embedded of the "highlights" from the 3-2 game set to Dolly Parton's "Baby I'm Burning." I've seen other recaps before, but for whatever reason this one hadn't ever popped up on my radar. Sorry if it's old hat to y'all, but I thought it was hilarious and a welcome respite from the gloom we're all dwelling upon.

It's like watching the Keystone Cops on a football field. Man, I haven't laughed this hard in a while.

Had a chat with an Auburn buddy at work earlier about this shitshow game. Only difference is he watched it on TV. I on the other hand was there unfortunately.

I got a Auburn grad here at work and he is as worried about Auburn's offense as we are ours. Also did they lose their Running Back? I saw where he got hurt against USM. I stopped watching that game last night about a few series after he went out.

Unfortunately I'll be at a wedding party with a bunch of Auburn alum. I don't expect a ton of trash talking between me and them pre-game.

Had that same convo with an Aubbie at work. We agreed that 3-2 is plausible again. They are as frustrated with Gus as we are with Joe.

I would. Imagine Gus with our RBs and his ability to run up-tempo. Auburn has had about a billion NFL RBs.
