Especially since we kept getting gashed for runs, or protection breakdowns. I also thought our blitzes worked pretty well when we did them. I agree with you- we should have played man + 1 safety, brought 7 on run blites and filled in the run lanes. We'd win a 1 on 1 before the coverage broke down. Instead, we let them attack us by running any play they wanted.

Good question. If they beat us throwing it then fine but we shouldnt have let them beat us with what they do well

Their offense didn't beat us. Their defense or Moorhead's offense or a combo of both beat us

I think it was a combination of their offense and defense. We just got wore out by the 4th quarter.

They had 300 total yards of O, 50+ of which were after the game was over and the D was giving up. We also got a turnover. SO, going int toe 4th, our D had held them to 200ish yards, 14 points (7 of which came off a bs no-OPI call) and got a turnover. That's all you can ask any D to do on the road in the SEC. this loss is 100% on the offensive side of the ball

Defense was fine tonight. Defense did not beat us. This game is squarely on offense and more specific OL and O coaches.
