Yep. I like the Matte helmets too. Have a workman like feel to them. The whole uni rocks as far as I'm concerned.

Call me crazy, but I actually like the MState Banner. Its better than the old Miss. State text. I have never liked Mississippi shortened to Miss.

As long as we avoid the white helmet with maroon jersey and avoid the maroon trousers in general, all of other combos are fine.

Maroon or silver helmet, white jersey, white pants is the best road uniform. The Grey pants should only be worn with the maroon jerseys. That said, if they’re going to wear grey pants, I’m glad they’re grey and don’t look like dingy white pants like some schools’ grey/silver pants do.

Regardless of the wording, I think regular lettering is infinitely better. I can't think of another football jersey I've ever seen with something so sterile and legal-ish on it. It seems hokey and amateurish.

Totally agree. I wish we'd just put a small logo like FSU and UGA have. We really don't need the front of our football and basketball uniforms to look like the entrance signs to the campus.

Yeah, the size of it and the extent to which it pushes the numbers down is definitely a major part of the problem.

When the bottom of the uniform is darker than the top it looks odd. I like the gray pants but not with white jerseys. Gray pants should go with maroon jerseys. That a a killer combo.

Miss. was the official state abbreviation for many years. I think the Post Office screwed things up when they changed all states to two letters. Plus a lot of people get AK and AR confused for some reason ....

This is a great idea. If we were with Nike, they probably would?ve done that when they did their V-necks. It would be great even without the Nike v-necks, though.

I really like the uni. It?s like I read earlier, it looks fast.

I would like to see maybe the top part of the helmet (where the stripe would be) as a polished finish but also have it break up into shorter lines as it goes to the base of the back of the helmet. Also maybe the same pattern on the stripes on the sleeves as well
