I didn't see a thread about this but that was a great tribute to her last night. Retiring her jersey at a football game was an awesome gesture by our school to honor her and also bring attention to her disease.
I saw pictures from the service for Alex in the Chapel of Memories today and saw that Commissioner Sankey was there. We all disagree with him from time to time but that was very cool for him to attend.

Surprised I'd never heard about her or her story until last night. So beautiful, young and talented. Life here on earth can be confusing as hell. She was a warrior until the very end.
