Mullen made the attendance vs UMASS an excuse to leave. You could see it in his face and the way he was answering the questions about it.

Gator fans have way too many more options than we do to watch a bad football product. He probably didn't consider this when making his career enhancing move to Gainesville. Poor Megan may soon have to get a job as a women's golf commentator again.

Auburn even had the upper corners of their upper decks looking empty well into the first half. I have to believe fans are reaching the cost saturation point of attending games. Ridiculous coaching salaries may be about to hit a plateau or fans may start staying home in droves. Corporations will have to buy all the tickets and give them away to employees.

Everybody...and I mean everyone... that is not an msu fan or alum automatically assumed and usually still assumes that Merlin was the only reason for our success. If that were true it would logically follow he would excel at a place like Florida. Only MSU people knew he was just as much a liability as an asset.

Yeah, that's true. But it's about 95 in Auburn today, and those upper deck seats are closer to the sun. **
