That said....Memphis (then Memphis State) had that logo before we did and used that logo off and on a lot longer than we did.

Exactly. I saw Ole Miss had a marathon of "The Seasons" on the ESPNU this afternoon & then I realized we don't even have the capacity to allow for that to happen.

Memphis is also a Nike school. Nike owns the rights to that. Sure, we could get “creative” and come up with something similar, however would Nike attempt to sue or anything?
