First time on your site. Always liked Miss. State. Sad to lose Joe M. from PSU, however, he went to a great place. Watched some of the K State game and I will be rooting for you guys all year long... especially when you play Bama and ole Miss. Joe M. only gets better as the year progresses so get ready.

Thanks.....my minister in Memphis is a big PSU grad and played baseball there. He talks very highly of Joe and told me personally he is a wonderful Christian man and good husband and father. BTW.....if Joe knocks it out of the park here....don't come after him down the road if PSU ever has another opening....LOL!!

Love how the vast majority of fans outside the SEC seem to hate two teams... Bama and OM. One for winning so much and the other for being the doucheiest team on the planet that everyone hates.

Joe certainly seems to be what we want and need as far as coaching ability goes. There's no question he's a good people person, and respects the players and fans. And in turn, they respect him. Most of us "liked" Mullen because he was ours ... but didn't really like him.
I thought one of his quotes was funny but honest ... "I may look 64 but I'm only 44." Yeah, he was quite candid there. :)

Maybe you can find something about it and post it. The youngsters may not know what you're talking about. I remember the modified endzone drawings that popped up in the papers and such. It was without a doubt blatant incompetence and favoritism.

Looked totally legit to me***
One of my personal favs was the year Arkie beat Bammer in TTown on a last minute catch by JJ Meadors... on a ball that hit the ground 4-5 feet in front of him... with 12 men on the field.....
More times than not, Bammer benefits, but it's not as one sided as some imagine...

That was obviously a TD, but it's not the one I remember. It was a Penn State called TD when the guy was a good 3 feet out of the back corner of the endzone. Of course, I could be misremembering too.
