What do you think about the argument for shitcanning polls til October? I understand the arguments against it, but kinda lean towards not having them til later, because outside of that 3 game stretch in '14 we had its kinda hard to move up quickly when they start you out so low. With preseason rankings laying your foundation for future rankings if you don't play great teams early you get screwed. I did hear them advocating for moving ATM up for playing Clemson close, but most teams wouldn't benefit from it if they're ranked too low to begin with, and they may not have idk.

I'm not so certain. Clemson will not play a ranked team this year. Right now, Oklahoma may play 2 (TCU and WVA). If some crazy stuff happens like last year in the SEC - you could have an undefeated SEC Champ and 2 1 loss SEC teams make the playoffs due to strength of schedule.

the North Avenue Trade School got blown up by USF, and UVA embarrassed by Indiana. Clemson and VT are the only quality teams in that league. I look for VT to knock Notre Dame out on 10/6 then knock Clemson out in the ACC title game.
