View Full Version : What are we looking for in Fitz at KSU?

I?ll give you a few of mine:

-Trust the ankle- You can be 100% and still have this subconscious reaction by your body to favor an injury. I want to see him run, plant, and not get jittery around traffic (especially low).

-Play calling speed- Senior QB but new system. KT did a pretty good job of getting us lined up and snapped.

-Deep ball- The arm talent has always been there and I want to see what it looks like.

-Ball placement- Is he putting his guys in this position to make a play?

RPO reads are good and hitting receivers in stride plus yds after catch. 55 or better completion percentage (1st game this year; needs to be better going forward tho.)

Wanna see Oline really kick butt too.

good qb reads. This will be evident in how open the running lanes are and how many one on one matchups he throws to.

- Bombs.... I want to see his touch on the deep ball. Is he giving his WR a chance?
- Ankle. Does he trust it?
- How quickly & at what quality does he process information in Moorhead's offense?
- Does he throw off his back foot or does he step into his throws?

There's some guys that can run with him, but they ain't a dime a dozen that's for sure. May depend on ankle now some tho.
