You can't understand a damn word that Gorilla says and he's dumber than a box of Captain Crunch. Who wants to play for that dude? Seriously? Who thinks he's gonna make them a better football player and get them ready for the NFL?

He?s no better or worse than most.

I used to have the same opinion of him but I?ve changed. He?s just a big coon ass. The reason he was successful at recruiting OM was Freeze and the network.

Isn’t he given credit for getting the bear network to start paying players just to visit?

With interpersonal relations (recruiting) people don't remember what you say as mush as how you make them feel.

Freeze made a statement back before he fell from grace that Coach O taught him everything he knows about recruiting.

He's a good recruiter b/c he loves recruiting and understands all the ins and outs of "the game". For example, he was one of the first to utilize the BYU online courses. High School coaches love the guy and he knows how to relate to players. He's turned over the offense and the defense to his highly paid coordinators.

All of the above and it's great having a whole state to recruit with no real local competition.

And having OM recruits from all over take their ACT tests at Waynesboro. So many recruits were quoted: "Coach O has a plan to get me eligible."

David "8-year show cause" Saunders' second stint at Ole Miss (out of three) was under Orgeron.

He was very successful at Southern Cal too. Players loved him. He gets right in there and acts like them!
