Wasn't dirty imo. Nothing like going after fitz and then key later in the egg bowl

I think it was a clean play. He was being drug down and his leg and ankle just got folded up.

It was clean-ish. Something UM does when tackling. It looks like they like to grab on and then they rolled into the player. Multiple times throughout the game.

Egg bowl was dirty as hell. TT was just football. That said, olemiss has won their last two because the opposing QB got hurt early.

It's the extra roll that looks like they're trying to get up or it's part of the play. Definitely practiced and planned. Start looking for practice volunteers on the OM campus on crutches.

Would like to see a video clip of it. When I tried to replay it on ESPN, my computer froze for some reason. I have a hard time not believing if we had won our last 2 in similar fashion there would be rumblings.

The 2 hitmen, Speaks and Gates, are gone, but the method remains. The high-low technique, and then roll up on the leg.

With all the new rules these days designed to protect players, it seems like they should examine "chop blocking" ball carriers. I miss the days of fundamental tackling where wrapping up was taught as opposed to torpedoing that seems to be the way these days.

It is starting to look like they are being taught that role. It's legal, but its dirty as heck.

Ankle U is out of this coincidence excuse for the next two years.

With McGriff as their DC, that's not surprising.
