I just thought Larry was an exploitation of the only remaining politically correct acceptable stereotype. Plus I thought the whole Larry concept was just stupid (although my marketing wife would say at least you remembered him and Dr. Pepper....the goal of all advertising) That being said, politically correct stuff that has a bit of humor is better than politically correct pomposity.
