Looks legit. One thing I noticed is that, yes, stidahm is hitting his guys but goodness they are running wide open

This fast paced offense Auburn is running is going to wear out some defensive lines. That is where our depth on the defensive front will pay off.

Not if you cannot sub out.

Auburn looks really good.

I would however encourage you to watch their running game. Stidham looks amazing but they've had little success running.

Like Ole Miss, Auburn is struggling in short yardage, red zone offense. Their combination of a non elite RB and a new OL is making it tough for them.

This may be their Achilles heal.

Washington was #4 in rush defense last season

I'll be thrilled if we make that jump. We were 28th last season

Consider the rushing offenses Washington faced vs what we faced last year.

UGA, Auburn, Bama, and LSU weren't on Washington schedule.

You're a smart guy, so I'm sure you understand how Washington could be 4th and us 28th but the quality be very similar due to schedule

Also Washington lost Vita Vea who was potentially the best DL in the country last year.

Once Auburn's scripted plays ran out, Auburn's OL started getting its ass kicked

Not if you cannot sub out.

Football allows subbing. We can play Gerri Green at DE on one series, and Chauncey Rivers at DE on the next series. It's legal. And lots of teams do it. You don't have to play the same players all game long. Basketball allows subbing also. Even baseball does, but once you leave you can't come back in. In football, they even let you come back in again. So in my above example, Green could come back in for the 3rd series (shocking I know, but perfectly legal). There are also many instances where you can sub players between plays during a series. But you can't sub while a play is actually going on, or you will get a penalty.

Chris Peterson is a great coach. I never liked him much when he was at Boise but he knows how to build a program

Peterson is a legend. He was fantastic vs Oklahoma. One of the greatest coached single games I've ever seen.

Auburn's offense is lacking at RB. Something they have to have.

Highly unimpressed by Auburn so far. Great at moving between the 20s, but they can't finish. That'll kill you, especially in conference play.

Peterson failed on this possession.
