Not sure if it qualifies as a superstition but if they want us to wear a certain color shirt for that particular game I will always do it.

I usually change shirts immediately before walking to the stadium whether I'm at vehicle, the Union, or wherever.

It's like a warm up shirt and a game shirt. I've done it for years.

Back in the day, I had a pretty strict drug and alcohol regimen that I strictly adhered to on game day. Three-four Buds, a couple of bong hits followed up with half of a Quaalude to take the edge off. During the 83 debacle against Missouri at Memorial Stadium, that was not enough. Worked well when we beat Miami.

I won't buy in new Bulldog gear during the season. Like I really need any more. Been in same chairback from day they were offered. Hotdog upon walking in and eating at near concession stand and taking coke to my seat along with popcorn.

However I may cut out the popcorn as it appears to be prepared earlier that week. Really important game, may just buy it and throw it away. No need to take chances for a couple bucks.
