I have tickets to MSU and Florida. Just curious when game time will be announced? Is it two weeks before?

I think it's typically a week or two before depending on CBS and their options for that particular weekend.

Two weeks before unless someone uses their option, which can only be used three times throughout the year.

Being the only other big SEC game that day is UGA/UT, we will likely either be the CBS 2:30 game or one of the ESPN evening games. Games times are usually released on Monday 13 days prior to the game.

I'm going to guess that CBS picks MSU/Florida up.

The narrative alone will warrant it, unless they want UGA/UT for the former Saban assistant showdown.

2:30 pm is the absolute perfect time to start a football game. Couldn't be better!

Though I understand it, I sometimes miss the days of the pre-tv deal, loved those 1:30-3:30 kickoff times.

Be nice both schools were undefeated and ranked high. Might give a shot at having game day.

Well it can be better if the temperature is in the 70's

To answer the OP, they usually do kickoff times 12 days out on Monday. 1 or 2 times a season they exercise and option to wait till Monday 5 days out. That's usually because they are awaiting the results of an immediately prior week's game

For the sake of this game I sure hope not. Give me a rowdy night game for this one. I get that makes it tough on people trying to find hotels or driving back that night, but a night game vs Florida this season would be wild.
