You can't really expect kentucky, Vandy, OM, Mizzou, or Arky to get ranked very often. That leaves 9 teams. Of the 9, 5 are ranked. Of the 4 left, SC probably should be ranked, and the other 3 have top 15 talent but first year HCs (A&M, UF, and TN).

It's really those last 3 all being down that make the numbers so low. Next year, A&M will probably be preseason ranked and 1/2 of UF and TN will probably be too. I think Mullen gets them ranked consistently, but not high enough for UF fans. State will lose too much for the preseason polls to like us, but there should be 6+ next year ranked. Really should have been 6 this year, again I think SC should be #25.
