View Full Version : Say what you want and I think Dak brings a lot to the table but we are

very predictable when he is in the game. With Auburn, LSU and then again tonight teams are stacking the box against us and he's not yet adept enough in the passing game to take advantage of that. Combine that with our young receivers and you see what you have and that is a very sporadic, inconsistent offense.

Disagree completely. We have shown that when the play calling is right, we are much better with Dak. This shit is on Mullen and Collins

Agreed. Dakota is a running back at this point. He's got great potential but his passing game is not going to scare any SEC defenses.

Dak can certainly run it but when things get tight they are going to make him pass it and he has yet to show he can beat anyone with the pass when the game is on the line. Not necessarily pushing for TR because I'm so sick of seeing his shit I could puke but until Dak can get a better handle of the passing game we will struggle against better teams.

Once a again, if Dak or Russel had Bama or LSUs OL, they would be damn good. Problem is the team they play for, the OL sucks and they have one decent but small WR.

Guys, once again we are still trying to call Dak plays for Tyler and Tyler plays for Dak. Once this gets corrected, we will be fine. We are fine if we use the roll outs with Dak in the passing game. We had Tyler using the roll outs which he is a pocket passer period. I think we still will be okay when we get Claussel and 91 back. Those guys both did not play tonight. Might explain the troubles on both sides of the line.

in the hell don't we ever bootleg him or roll him out?

Dak is just predictable in the 2nd half. Same exact thing happened in the Auburn, LSU and BG game. Dak stops handing the ball off or throwing playaction passes. Instead he keeps it himself and runs straight forward. When the defense is keying in on him specifically he becomes much less effective. It's like the pitcher that has success with his fastball and forgets to use his change. Eventually they will adapt. Dak needs to use his other weapons and it will free him up. Michael Vick is so much more dangerous when he uses McCoy and Jackson and Dak ain't Vick. If it's true for the top NFL running QB's it is most certainly true for Dak Prescott. He MUST use his other weapons to make himself a better offensive player.

After looking at the second half plays there's only one drive that Dak does this. He runs the ball himself on 6 of 7 plays.

Dak has to improve his passing to keep the D off balanced. They keyed on his running at really hurt his play. It was not play calling it was the ability of our 2 QBs

He was 7/11 for 75 yards- 10 yards per completion

The offense also rushed for 245 yards

It's the playcalling that gets predictable

You people are crazy. Every single time we went to a split back set tonight it forced them to load the box which gave us clear space to throw the ball. We gave them fits every time we went split! Dak is ABOSOLUTELY the way to go now! Where would we have been without him tonight? With a loss no doubt!

Agree, Tyler needs to be the QB. Or the snaps need to be 75/25 in his favor. Dak isn't ready.
