I just read he told a guy from Rivals.com that he has narrowed his options to Auburn, LSU and NC State. Auburn has already offered.

QB life would be much easier in the ACC, Cord.

I thought Florida was a done deal. I read it here.

This just shows that the Mullen factor isn’t a factor at all...

Are these walk on offers? Did Mullen offer something and pursue him? How bad a need is Sandburg to the Gators? If "yes" and "real bad" are the answers to my last 2 questions, Mullen has problems we may not even know about.

did he ever sign a letter with us ?

He did sign with us. Baseball will pay his way. I am not sure that classifies as an exemption from the 85 on scholarship.

Not worried about him. The 1st time being tackled may kill him.

So wrong. He is in his prime now and even more mature, see Chris Whinkie (Sp) He could be just what Mullen needs. The fact FL is not mentioned is the real story.

How many times have you seen a Weinke situation? He's miles behind to being a decent Qb. Footwork, the playbook, football conditioning, and the speed of the game are just a few things he'll have to adjust in order to be an average player. Tim Tebow was an all world baseball player as well in high school. Things change quickly when you're out of the improvement process.

Heard yesterday on a Louisiana sports radio station that LSU is pursuing him hard. I guess that means that Burrows ain't cutting it.

Not sure burrow has anything to do with it. We are 6 weeks from kickoff... sandberg isn't playing for any sec team this season

Auburn and LSU are permanent opponents. Who they get at qb is pretty important. If he goes outside the sec, who cares

Yeah but he's a developmental QB at a time that we have 3 QBs on our roster both this year and next year that are better than him.

It's a non subject to me. I'll be surprised if the guy ever starts a college game.

Cannot not Auburn or LSU recruit and developed QB's out of high school? You would think as much as they think their shit smells like roses they could do that.

I'm not sure what the depth charts of those he's considering look like, but Cord may not like the competition that's shaping up at Florida as an older guy who hasn't played football in a while. Even though they're going to be weak at QB this year, Dan just brought in one highly-rated freshman and adds another that he's been recruiting for a long time next year. At this point in his sports career, I'm sure he wants to go somewhere with a clear path to starting very quickly.

People, he hasn’t played QB in how many years? He will take time to even halfway contribute wherever he goes.

I'm gonna rely on the fact Blue Bloods are competing for his services over the Cord Bashing here. And I'm gonna enjoy Mullen missing out on him if that ends up being the case.

Yep. Cord For Heisman should be trending early summer 2019.

He may be good and he may not but I didn’t want him in the West.

And what is Auburn doing becoming Ole Miss with qbs. When is the last decent kid they developed from HS?

Laziness on the coaching staff and that is why they will be gone soon.
