With IU makings it's hire, someone asked Kendall Rogers if he thought we would go after Bunn. Rogers said "I think Bunn is great, but I said MSU was going to go big game hunting, and they'll start higher than that"

What exactly would be a "big game" hire in you guys mind?

Big game hunting = schloss, Corbin, and McDonnell

Actual hire = lemonis

Expect the same thing on this hire.

We are going all in for Yeskie. Will we get him? Who knows but that’s a good place to start. Bunn is one heck of a plan b

Why wouldn't he be available? Other HC job looking at him? If another top program wants him as a PC you'd have to think we'd be in the same price range, plus being able to stay with Lemonis would be another pull.

So what do y'all mean by "may not be available"?

I hate not knowing what is going on, but if it prevents division and people not getting behind whoever it ends up being, by all means keep it quiet. Commerce, feel free to inbox me though. Ha. Seriously though, you can inbox me.

Any new developments on the PC front?

Lotta smoke still around Yeskie. If we can pull that off I’m going to be really impressed. Foxhall is a good one too though.

There was a post on the other board and someone said Yeskie was staying put. Don’t know where he got the information. I think he mentioned twitterr.

The Yeskie thing sounds a lot more far fetched than hiring Schloss or McDonnell, but it almost makes sense if we offered him the right amount of money. It depends on what his long term goals are. If he wants to be a head coach, he won’t be staying around OSU or Starkville forever. So he might be motivated to move his family for money if it’s a short term thing.

He did mention twitter but there is absolutely nothing on twitter saying yeskie is staying put... not that I can find anyway.
