Our volleyball team is the laughing stock of the SEC

We have lost 23 straight SEC matches and 20 of those have been sweeps. That's right, we haven't won since 2011. We also own the league record for 29 straight SEC losses. It's beyond pitiful. I know Jenny is true maroon , but it's time for a change at head coach.

Wherever they were eating today in College Station their waiter at the restaurant tweeted that he was waiting on the MSU Volleyball team and tall girls made him uncomfortable. Weird.

Last season, our best player quit mid-season. I know that there isn't a particularly strong HS volleyball program in the state of MS, but we are beyond awful. I love going to the MSU VB matches, but I quit going last season, and have only been to one this season. I just can't bear to watch our team. We seem to always have players out of position and we can't block. It's all on the coaching.

I remember when that player quit, she had some very nasty things to say about the State Coach. Said she loved volleyball and the coach made her hate the game for the first time in her life. I think Stricklan had to get involved in the situation . Don't know what's going on there. Like he said there aren't a lots of vb players in Ms and you just don't have a lot of resources to recruit the top players.

The Deep South doesn't have a lot of very good volleyball. Texas, Atlanta and the Midwest are light years ahead. I doubt the idea of SEC volleyball is much of a draw to recruits.

But 29 straight losses is unacceptable. She's True Maroon, and I don't mind moving her to an admin position, but we need a new coach.

Make that 24 losses with our loss yesterday. If we don't win this upcoming weekend against Tennessee, we won't win a single SEC match again for consecutive years. You're talking about one of the worst teams in all of college sports history territory.
