I bet a lot of them were like me had we gone. I was going to take Mon-Thursday off from work and then come back hopefully with a National Title t-shirt. That rain out on Monday would have messed me up in the event of a three game series- which with MSU baseball would happen because we can't do anything easy. A lot of people were probably flying out on Thursday- and then watching their team overrun a foul ball that would have won the National Title for them probably made a lot of their fans sick enough to not cancel the flights and book hotel rooms another night and call in to work.
