Tennessee plays VTech at Bristol, LSU plays Wisconsin at Lambeau, Bama probably plays at Cowboys stadium and MSU will play Jackson State. Can we play MCU? I heard they've got a football team.

Why doesn't the same logic hold for lsu ? He'll they have more incentive to play panzies. If they don't play this game, will their SOS hold them back? No.

Because everybody is a Patsy to LSU most years. Why is this so hard to understand?

We weren't favored against anybody but Alcorn and Troy this year so far.
We had fans worried about the Troy game.
We have fans worried about the bowling green game.
We are sitting around praying for 6 wins and all but knowing we will lose at least 6.

What part of the above says, "We should schedule a little tougher"? Jesus.

LSU will be favored over Wisconsin. LSU will be favored over damn near anybody they schedule out of conference. We aren't LSU.

Do you realize that what you are asking for is a guaranteed set back to our program. If we schedule tougher, it doesn't change the fact that we are MSU. We will still be underdogs, still lose most of those games, and then not go to bowls. Why would you want that?

Them being favored is irrelevant. They have a better chance of losing to them than southern university. So why
Take that chance?

Who cares why? Why should we follow them? They aren't worried about ruining their bowl chances. Who cares what LSU does, and why are we even remotely comparing ourselves to them?

I just want to have clarity. You guys also, logically, think lsu would make a smarter decision playing Alcorn. Right or wrong?

Neither. LSU is a powerhouse, so their scheduling does not matter like ours does. Again, why are you drawing comparisons to LSU? We are totally opposite ends of the spectrum from LSU. They are playing for Titles, while we are fighting to become bowl eligible.

Because MSU and others in the SEC are LSU's "panzies". They have an easier schedule to them than us already just by being the superior team in 9-10 of their games. The teams that MSU schedules in the one OOC vs Power4 conferences should be those equivalent or less to MSU. Teams like UNC, Virginia, Wake Forest, BC, Syracuse, Maryland, NCSU, Duke, Kansas, Iowa St., Minnesota, Indiana, Illinois, Iowa, Purdue, and Colorado. That's 16 teams. That all suck.

they're playing for national championships. when we have a realistic shot at one, we need to probably pick up a strong OOC game too. Until then, let's try to beat some of the top 5 teams we play every year... the same ones that LSU does sometimes beat.

We could beat any of those teams at the moment. I would be willing to roll the dice with any of those teams for a home and home. It would offer a unique travel/host opportunity for our fans, and would be a hell of a lot more interesting than a SWAC opponent!
