Because I don't just look at name. I look at pedigree. I look at what he did at the program he was at. He passes all of that. He can recruit. I look at response by folks in the arena. He passes that. Young, has ties in the south, played the game at the college level, has been a head coach for 4 years.

I'll go out on a limb and say that had Cohen not said what he did, not one single person would hate this hire. This is a good hire but because names like Schloss and McDonnell were thrown out there (and we can't even get confirmation on who we offered the job to) some uninformed people are disappointed.
