Just saw where small was returning for another year! He should be a stud for our Friday starter! With the other arms we got and development, we could have a damn good pitching rotation next year!

He told Brett Hudson last night that he and his family still haven't decided. Brett is saying people are misconstruing the tweet.


"I'm back" seems pretty straight forward though..

I don't read that as him saying he'll be back next year at all. Guess some folks see things they want to see.

In my mind, the fact that he's a lefty throwing low 90s and has proven he's very good against SEC competition should make him easily a top 15 round pick by default. I assumed since he was drafted in the 25th round he had a huge price tag and no one bit.

If he can get back to a consistent 91-93 like he was as a freshman, he will be a top 10 round guy. Good decision Ethan.

Pilk has a lot less potential then Small and he was a top 3 round pick. I think he can get second round easy if his velocity gets back to 93-94. He was hitting 92 yesterday.

I would love this. I bet it doesn't happen though... these kids want to pitch in the cape (assuming he will be there)
