RHP
103.1 ip 86 h 33 er 24 bb 60 k
Era = 2.87
Whip = 1.07
K9 = 5.23
Bb9 = 2.09

His stats look like a duplicate of the Washington guy we faced, although worse k9 and bb9. I think we will do fine vs this guy. His strength is not walking guys, and we don't walk anyway (last in sec). Abel is more concerning to me with his 12.68 k9

Also of note, this guy counts on his defense and he's missing his starting CF. Could be an issue

Updated era through today is 3.10 according to OSU website. Teams hit .235 against him. And his 11 HR given up is more than double anybody else on their staff

We are definitely in better shape then they are. They have had to use their best bullpen arms to complete the win over North Carolina.

Does the cws not have a rule like the SEC that requires teams to announce their planned starters?

If he would just get the walks down, he'd be pretty good.

Yeah, I've given up on that. Just gotta hope he can get the well timed Ks to end innings

We just can't walk people and make errors. Everything else is good. I'm hoping the Beavers are tight. If so, we can pound them early. I don't want to have to come from behind today.

Couldn't resist could you?

Also, on a serious note, how many lefties/switch guys are in their lineup?
