I'd take it. Hell of a first year for Jomo if so.

The analytical revolution in college football has been very good to MSU.

Objective algorithms don't consider in the helmet, tradition, stadium size, etc & just teams fairly on the basis of their metrics.

ESPN FPI, Dave Bartoo, etc put the pressure on the Booger McFarland types to state a quality case why helmets & tradition matters. It's basically made lazy analysts look ridiculous

If that's the case we go 11-1 because Auburn is not coming to Starkville and win.

This is kind of semantics, kind of not, but it's not projecting us to go 10-2. It's saying those are the only 2 games in which we wouldn't be favored. But the actual projection is just over 8 wins. So 8-4 or 9-3 is their actual projection.

I stand by what I predicted a few months ago. We have a season that rivals 2014 (if not better), we are the "it" team of the season and Coach Moorhead is the coach du jour of the CFB world.

Not semantics, it's accuracy. OP doesn't know how to read advanced stats

The good news is, Bill Connelly seems to like us more than ESPN FPI, and he's more accurate IMO

As of this moment he's got us at a 74% chance of beating K State, so his cumulative totals will go up, probably a solid 9-3 from him

What going to make it better is Coach Joe isn't going to tighten his ass up in the 4th.

Booger doesn't need metrics to make him look lazy or ridiculous but i understand what you are saying.

Sorry massuh, sir, I didn't break out the 17ing slide rule and be 100% accurate in my wording.

LOL You have to be 100% accurate to post on this board. Just ask some of the message board coaches.***

Losses to Alabama and Auburn.

My exact prediction about 3 months ago, and no, I don't work for ESPN.
