For a team not expected to win a SEC game this season we are now guaranteed no worse than a fourth place finish in the nation.

We got there in this CWS by pitching. The area we were most concerned about. So far in two games our staff has given up three runs and one of those was due to a lost fly ball. Two legit runs in 18 innings in the CWS. I'll buy that for a dollar.

I'm no math major, but I'm pretty sure we've only given up 2 runs thus far in the CWS.

That's definitely the most surprising part to me. Small and Pill were so much more efficient than they have been the last few weeks. It's crazy to think that the whole bullpen (Cole limited availability) should be available on Friday.

hell everyone knows our pitching has gotten worse****. Hendo is just average pitching Coach---look at the stats..

Yep. We have given up only 1 legit earned run in 18 innings. Hope we can average that over the next 3 games.
