Regardless of what happens over the next week, is this the best athletic year in Mississippi State sports history? Between another bowl game, national runner-up finish in women's basketball, track and field, men's tennis...the list goes on.

Any coincidence that it's Cohen's first full year as AD? Cohen effect**

Don't forget Frisbee golf. **

Unless we get sorely disappointed, football this fall will continue the great sports year. Even the men's basketball team performed a lot better than predicted, and that should continue for the upcoming season as well.

Football 9 wins with a Gator Bowl trophy
Women's basketball - National Title runner up
Men's basketball - NIT Final Four
softball - Regional appearance along with top 25 final ranking
baseball - still playing
volleyball - ?
soccer - ?
track and field - ? I know guy won the national title in javelin
men's tennis - Elite 8
women's tennis - Regional
Disc golf - National Title

Anything else?

Men's and women's golf? I have no idea how we did, but we have those two sports. And club ice hockey ....

Men's Golf made the NCAA Regionals
Women's Golf has a down year and didn't make the post-season
Soccer - 9-5-4 was the best season since 2001, and best SEC finish since 2004, and had a top 40 RPI
