I think we can beat anyone in Omaha, so I would say a 1 in 8 chance. That gives me a 1.2 out of 10 confidence level.

I will say 65 here. Would not be surprised if we did win, would not be surprised to go 0-2.

In 2007 I just knew it was our year b/c we were the only SEC team to make it that year. Weelll..

2013 I was just happy we made it and gave us no shot and we make the Championship Series.

4. But I could really range from a 2 to an 8, because that's how our team plays, up and down. I will still go with 4 beacause of our inability to play a clean game. We made mental and physical mistakes in just about all the postseason games we've played in this year. That's not a championship winning recipe. Mistakes will eventually send your butt home. Clean some things up and we can make some noise because we are hitting well enough right now.

I will say 1 which represents the 9% chance I think we have to win it all.

I am 100% confident that NOBODY thought we would be here after the Vandy series back in April. We didn't think we could even make the SECT, much less a damn regional. Me included

The 1989 team that spent 2/3 of the year ranked #1 in the Nation, never made it this far. And the-89ners hosted a regional, they had 1-9 hitters, 3 legit starters, and they had a AA closer

I'll go with 4. I'm still pretty giddy about watching Ole Miss implode while we moved on to Omaha, so the rest is pretty much gravy to me.

We didn’t have 3 legit starters. We had one stud and two avg joes. No offense. The rest you said was fairly accurate

Not sure how anyone could possibly say greater than a 2 at max. I’m a 1. Hell I wouldn’t be more than a 2 to say we win a game.

I’d say 65% we win at least one game. Washington has to be 50-50 by itself and then either UNC or OSU in a losers bracket has to be 20% at least.

If you are referring to Oregon State then I would go with a 9.25. Our boys in maroon though? A solid 4

Would be pretty damn remarkable the year and team we win the natty with is the baseball team that had a sexting coach get fired and not the women's basketball team with back to back natty appearances.

I'll go with 6 to match the number of games we've won against this year's CWS participants.

Tracey Jones and Chris George were legit starters. We only lost 1 SEC series that year, Alabama. Polk wasted Tracey Jobes on Nicholls State in game-2 and then Chris George only lost game-3 to UNC 2-1, so not his fault. George was 7-1 that season with a 2.51 ERA in a Gorilla Ball ERA year

I'm a 10 in this and it's really unfair because I have inside knowledge that you all don't. However, I like everyone in that posts here so I will let you in on what I've got. I have watched the Dawgs play 4 games in the CWS. Two in 2007 and the championship series is 2013. We lost all 4 of those games but win everything in between. I will not be attending this year, so us winning is pretty much a lock. Go ahead, phone your bets into Vegas and feel free to put your houses up for collateral.

Due to how spread out the games are, pitching depth issues are not issues. Arizona had 3 guys in 2016 and almost won it.

I’d give us a 6.5 but sometimes the balls bounce your way and your belief in yourself is all you need. The most talented and the deepest teams don’t always win. I will say this. It would not surprise me at all if we lost the first game and won through our bracket then lost one in the championship series but took the series 2-1. That’s just how this team rolls.

I feel a little homerish giving us a 1, but we do have a lot of intangibles in our favor:

3 - Oregon State, Florida
1 - Arkansas, North Carolina, Mississippi State
0.5 - Texas Tech, Texas
0.25 - Washington

I give us a 60% chance to win Game 1 against Washington and a 40% chance to win Game 2 against either Oregon State or North Carolina. Therefore, that computes to a 24% chance to win the first 2 games. It will require at least 3 more wins for a Natty. If I put a 50% chance on each of those games, there is a 3% chance that we run the table, finish 5-0 and bring home the Natty.

That being said, I still have my hotel reservations in Omaha for the second weekend and beyond.... if we win the first two games on Saturday and Monday, I'll be there on Friday and will stay as long as MSU hangs around.
