View Full Version : Anyone grill London Broil (Top Round)?

Best cut of meat for the money, grill it like a filet. It has a little more fat than other inexpensive cuts.

I think London Broil is actually a cooking method, but top round is commonly called London Broil.

Yes. I'd do it more regularly but my kids aren't fond of it. The marinade is the key for me. There are lots of different options for different styles and flavors - but its one of those meats that you get so much more out of with a proper soaking and grilling.

Haven't had any in a while. To be honest, I've never cared much for it. But I admit it's been a long time since I've had any. I have a grocery store here called Wynco that sells vacuumed packed tenderloin for $7.50 per pound and I've been sold on that for a while now.

The wife and kids are steak jobs, filet only! WTF!? $15-21/lb!

A coworker turned me on to the London Broil, cooked correctly, it's a great tasting cut of meat.

I cooked it like a filet, next time I'll try it marinated.
