Because to the big world outside of Northern Mississippi going to a football game wearing starched khakis with animals embroidered on them, shirt & ties, and holding red plastic cups is not a party. It is a big sign that the short bus of social irrelevance pull over and load them all up.

Most people realize that ANY campus in this country has actual trees under which tailgaters may place a party tent - and phenomenon of phenomenons, they DO. My Aggie friends stated they are more pretentious than Texas - that is akin to saying Joseph Stalin had slight anger issues. Two are going back this year to simply laugh at the Bear-folk.

Their tradition of partying is like watching Ted Knight's Bushwood Country Club in Caddy Shack.
