I think the main reason is the superiority of our fan base. We're diverse, energetic, and represent all that is good and decent about America. On the other hand, Ole Miss is a bunch of unibrowed, windowlicking inbreds who are desperate to keep Mississippi 51st in the nation (after Puerto rico).

I mean we absolutely dominate top 10 teams, but consistently struggle against scrubs.. except for this weekend outside of 1 game.. and to be fair, I wouldn't call any of those teams scrubs.. just not top 10 outside of FSU

Yeah, members cuss, fuss, and belittle each other, but at least it seems to me......they care. And they care deeply about MSU. Seems to be able to recruit .. teams win >40 games .. chokes away big games.

Since Bianco, been to regionals in .. 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018

In 2005, OM beat Texas in the 1st game in Oxford Super, lost the 2nd on an error, and lost the 3rd.

Coming from a good baseball conference, presumably they are never the 4 seed, so it probably shoudl be higher than 1 in 4. But probably not much higher than 33%? Just curious as to whether 4 out of 15 is really underachieving that much. One for five in supers does seem bad.

I wish that more State fans realized these differences about our schools. MSU has always been a more diverse and cultured University. I am hard pressed to come up with a d1 school that is more racist, less cultured and less inclusive than Ole Miss. Even their nickname is a racist term that is used with a wink and a smile amongst their fanbase to laugh at the people including the media who just don't get it. Somewhere I have a screenshot of the origin of Ole miss from their website that confirms this.

The only real reason to care is because both schools reside in the same State and it is unfortunate that the media gets us confused at times.

BTW... Great to see the Mutt implosion statement still being used after so many years. I believe it started back in the GP days, maybe even the egg bowl says? 😂
