TCU prior to Schloss had been to 2 post seasons ever and had never won 40 games. TCU now has half as many CWS as we do and Schloss has been there 15 years. Polk was at MSU for 29 years and took us to 6 CWS. Schloss has taken them 4 years straight and has also never been 2 and out in Omaha.

Saban had won one title before Bama hired him. TCU's program would be like if Saban had won at Kentucky like he had at LSU.

John Calipari has gone to 6 Final 4?s (2 of the 6 were vacated) from 1996. I don?t think more than back to back twice. He had basically went to 3 straight Final 4?s, 4 total and 6 Elite 8?s in less time.

Agreed, baseball doesn't lend itself to dominance like football so no true Sabans running around college baseball. The best college football team almost always wins the CFB playoff or at least plays for it. Baseball is a game where the CWS is way more often won by a random good team that's not the best team than it is won by the very best college baseball team. Baseball is just a much more random game than football where anyone can beat anyone.

Kendall has been letting a little more information out about the hire everyday and I fully expect today to be the day it becomes public with Schlossnagle.
