Ole Miss has an easy draw imo. Tennessee Tech is good but probably not good enough to beat them. They're also paired with Texas, which will be an easy Super Regional for them.

That's a load of BS. The criteria used to select teams should be the same every year so that teams can know what they need to do to get in. Essentially, he's admitting that each Committee just puts in whoever they want and then makes up reasons to justify it.

Yeah, but some years it doesn't. I remember us getting in at 12-17, and I want to say Oklahoma got in a few years ago at like 10-17.

Good catch. The four sec hosts would all play each other first round in Omaha and would all be in same bracket. Fla vs Uga and OM vs Ark. Would be an all sec bracket in Omaha. Prevents an all sec natty series like last years with fla vs LSU.

1998 all over again when us, fla, and LSU were all in same bracket following
LSU and Bama meeting each other in 97 for natty. Coincidence? I think not.

Tennessee Tech and Missouri State are legit teams this year and can easily beat Ole Miss. Tennessee Tech beat Vandy @ Vandy this year and should've hosted but didn't submit a bid.

Missouri State has a legit Friday night starter and the best SS in the draft.

This is why I don?t think we have a bad draw. No elite SEC teams anywhere close to us. Hell, no elite teams period until Omaha. Would much rather face Clemson in a Super than UF, Ole Miss, Oregon State, Stanford, etc

I don't always agree with shotgun but he's right about this. Tennessee Tech can mash and got some decent pitching. Missouri State is legit too. Not gonna be the cakewalk for unm everyone seems to be thinking.

Most teams like Tennessee Tech and Missouri State can whip anyone on a given day, but struggle in regional play where pitching depth is needed. I don’t know anything about those two teams, but that’s usually the case with smaller schools. Warranted or not, if OM doesn’t make it through that regional they will be laughed at.
