I guess technically, it isn't a done deal until he has resigned at TCU and signed his contract at State.

You don't want enemy media messing around our processes

JC and MSU should leak a rumor about Lane Boroughs and have all the CL and D1 people chase that stick.

I would even faux clumsy call Steven Head to inquire about Tommy Raffo building a staff.

It’s probably an MOU with the intent of signing a deal after his season is done. Either way Kendall will get blasted from this in a couple of weeks.

Worth pointing out that tweet was in response to a fan tweeting "It's TCU's coach." He didn't just tweet that out of nowhere...

Meh, all media outlets want to be the first to report the news. Kendall is the one spreading doubt it’s Schlossnagle. The CL actually reported Cohen getting the AD job before he got it. I’m good with Kendall doing this even though he will catch hell about it in a couple of weeks.

Yes, it helps him get through the season, but understanding that should keep Rogers from taking heat about it. It actually makes me think it probably is Schlossnagle now.

Why would he get blasted? He didn't say he wouldn't be hired he said it's not a done deal yet. That's semantics.

Because he went out of his way to point it out. He didn’t have to go specifically to that reply and subtweet it making a production out of it saying it wasn’t a done deal. No real sense in that.

You're talking to the same people who blasted our own administration for saying that the AD hire was not finalized and John Cohen was not yet our AD when, in fact, John Cohen was not yet our AD.

I guess anything's possible but like I said yesterday if this is a ruse there's a whole lot of people involved. A whole lot of people who were right about Cohen being hired as AD and Cann being hired as HC.

It's simple... Kendall knows Schloss is the next coach but he's being told how to handle it for the right to be the first to report it.

Sure seems like every time someone denies that a coach will take a certain job then that's exactly where the coach winds up. Funny how that seems to happen a lot.

I've been lurking over there since I heard the Schloss rumors. was waiting for them to get word before I posted because I didn't wanna troll them or "break" the "news". I've lived in Ft Worth for 15 years now and I kinda like TCU. especially after they trashed tsun in Atl. I also laugh when they beat Texas & A.M & Baylor.
