Was just looking at stats and it seems Brent is struggling some this year. He has, however, picked it up over the last week or so. He's batting only .236 for the year with only 6 BB and his OPS is below avg at .645. His K rate is hovering around an extremely high 33% and an awfully low 4% BB for the season.

What's going on with him? Still just getting adjusted to AA? I figured he would be able to adjust quicker than that having played 40 games already this season.

Little better of late... here's last 10 games:

.267 (12/45) 3 hr

Here's the bad though in last 10:

0% bb, 28.9% k

Last 3 games: 3/14 (.214), 0 bb, 5 k (35.7%)

The logical answer would be that he is facing a better competition.

He's in a pitchers' league too. Don't tell Austin Riley that though... he destroyed the southern league

It is surprising how much he has struggled.

Last year's 1st round sec position players:

Kendall (A+): .232/.331/.368. 35.2% k
White (A+): .268/.351/.369 good bb and k
Rooker (AA): .235/.270/.379 28.2% k

None are performing well so far. Sec is good, but milb A+ and up is much better

How does Rooker stack up against the other hitters in the league? I hope that it is a big time pitchers league but I doubt .230 is average. Mitch Moreland is the only hitter who is doing much of anything right now in the pros. Frazier and Renfroe are both slumping. Is Renfroe still hurt?

Here's the leader board for southern league...

I don't see age listed, but it would be pretty relevant. Be nice to limit the leaders to rooker's age and below
