Can?t believe some people hold a grudge against someone because of 1 event. The man is dead, who cares what he did to a player sometimes life is more important than sports. I bet Jarvis isn?t saying that about Slive tonight.

I thought it was funny.

Death is a part of life. It sucks and I feel for his friends and family but I'm not goin to be all pretentious and act like someone is above any ridicule because they have passed on. When I'm gone I hope everybody is cracking jokes...and I'm sure most will be at my expense.

If I remember correctly he was diagnosed with cancer late in his tenure.

Mike Slive was definitely not a friend of Mississippi State but he is largely responsible for the giant check we receive from the SEC each year so for that I am thankful to him.
