Vansau is hitting .202; Hatcher is .261. But in conference play, Hatcher is hitting .183 with 71 AB's and Vansau is hitting .154 with 39 AB's. So I don't have a problem with Vansau against the UK righty. Vansau went 1-4 against Troy but he hit another ball really hard. Only other options would be Westburg or Jordan Anderson and just go righty vs righty. Hopefully, Vansau will take advantage of this opportunity.

Also the same studies that have shown that going to college gives you a better chance of making it to MLB have also shown that the path that is least likely to get you to MLB is through JUCO.

I stick by my take that Luke might be the slowest short stop in the SEC. He lets a lot more balls by him/infield singles than I remember an MSU shortstop giving up in my lifetime.. Maybe I'm plain wrong.. but tonight was a prime example.
