His name is picking up steam and quickly. WOW if true. "Homerun" wouldn't do this hire justice. We may be hiring the #1 coach in country...

Looking at his Twitter, he is an upbeat, positive guy who encourages support of all the tcu athletic programs. I like his personality and can see how he would be a good recruiter. Lot of positive energy.

Remember that we cannot offer anything over 4 years due to State Law, guys. Whoever is saying $1.2 million over 10 years is DEAD WRONG.

We can only offer four years and he is currently paid $1.4 mil at TCU. I’d believe it if you had said something like $1.7 or 1.8 over 4. Legally speaking, we can only offer a four year contract thanks to the Ole Miss legislative asshats in Jackson. It’s a state law.

As usual here comes somebody blowing it out his ass that doesn't even know the law's in Mississippi on 4 year education and coaching hires. Just got to jump on the board with I said it first.

They are actually having a very uncharacteristically off year and are not projected in the field. If he is hired, it could be as early as two weeks.

He makes $1.1M from the school. We can handle that. I would be leery of leaks though. Sometimes they're smokescreens.

Actually, we CAN offer longer than a 4 year deal. The supplemental part over and above his "state" pay can be longer than 4 years. Which comes from the NFC, And where the majority of the big 3 and Vic get their money from. Now, I don't believe for a second we offered anyone 10 years.
