Carly Thibault-Dudonis is now at Minnesota. She seemed like a good coach and was easy on the eyes. Was this expected or was this a promotion?

She is from Minnesota and wanted to get back closer to home.

Also, if you read her bio she's moved around quite a bit for such a short career. She also got married fairly recently to a guy who is or has been a coach, so it could have been a package deal. I don't know what kind of a coach she was ... all I ever saw her do was sit on the sidelines with a clipboard and occasionally restrain Vic from getting a T. :) I honestly didn't know she was actually a coach (thought just administrative) until I heard about her moving a month or so ago. And yes, she was a touch of eye candy ... maybe we can find a suitable replacement. ;)

I hate to see anyone leave from this staff that isn't told to go. Given that, I appreciate anyone who was associated with that team and I wish her the best.

I have no doubt that Coach Vic will hire or promote well in light of Coach Carly leaving, but she is a significant loss though. She is considered a very good recruiter and evaluator. Her hubby, Blake Dudonnis runs a recruiting evaluation/rating service, and just recently started a women's basketball blog site.
