Looks like the rumors were true and he'll be headed to JUCO. Hate that for the kid.

Also while on the topic of WR, I've read really good stuff on Whop but does anyone have anything on how Guidry has looked since he's been back?

Not sure if it's a huge deal. He's raw & would've likely not contributed till 2019 at the earliest.

My question is: what about James Williams? Is he eligible at OM?

It's a pretty big deal. Really sucks for him and us.

Of course, but you can either choose to freak out about it or find a silver lining

Big blow. If Guidry doesn't get his head right, our great WR class last season is not looking so great. Do love Jason, but need Guidry too

The Guidry freak out has been a little overblown

Just another day in MS in my opinion. I didn't really expect a contribution out of any of the freshman WRs honestly, I always though Guidry was the big one

Of course I have tunnel vision for 2018 at the moment

I hear Whop will certainly contribute

I don't really see a silver lining. No freak out just an honest assessment.

Yeah not sure how there can be a silver lining for a guy that was supposed to contribute in 2018/2019 at the latest going JUCO and having his recruitment opened back up.

Has anyone confirmed this?

I?ve heard several rumors why, but nothing I could confirm.

Very raw and coming from a run heavy offense where “go deep” was his entire route tree, almost certain redshirt

I hate it because he needs to learn the position and the best coaching is at State and he could’ve redshirted. He wasn’t playing this year no matter what had he made it.

Truth! He'll need to learn how to play WR big boy style

I doubt he ever makes it to Starkville

Why not?

His recruitment wasnt the smoothest the first time, it was obvious he wanted attention. All kids do I know but he was pretty outspoken about it. Just a gut feeling.

Now Im not hating on the kid, he's very talented. Talented enough to play WR in the SEC, but he was gonna be raw. Callaway didnt help him much

Most of the attention was orchestrated by Umiss. He may or may not end up at State after Juco but more times than not when you place a kid in Juco and you still recruit them and make them a top priority you end up getting them back.

So somebody at Cway changed his grades or what? Bc that would be a huge deal that should be getting publicity and, I would imagine, carry criminal penalties.

Callaway has posted a job opening for football head coach. Looks like Darius Brown is out, and the other shoe drops!

I will say this and won?t say anything else about it.
There is another coach there who?s hands are as dirty as anyone. If not dirtier.

Question... does pat Austin moving on have anything to do with all this or no

Or could he prep school or something and be back next year?

Are we really asking this? Whats next you going to ask if Darrius Brown resigning/fired has anything to do with this.

I think its time to nuke this thread.

Heath will be at Colin this fall and Coach Austin has moved on and leaving no bridges burned at Miss State
