I would imagine if the news was favorable it would have already been plastered on anything that could be read. Seems like there has been plenty of time to respond and get it over with. I'm wondering if the change of heart for letting Shea Patterson be eligible may have been an indicator of the recent respond to the appeal OM was seeking.

I suspect we know because they have not said that they won.

Looking like July / August timeframe. Of all the penalties NCAA will impose, the 'unofficial visit' restrictions will burn the most. They RELY on the 'get to campus', party in the square and meet a couple of boosters network in recruiting.

Most in state players are already past the 'Miss'ippi Made' BS line OM is floating .. with only ~ 19 MS signees on their entire roster.

No, don't think so and OM DIDN'T have a 'change of heart' UNTIL AFTER the NCAA changed the transfer rule. With the change, BOTH OM and Shea 'dropped' their challenges.

So they were denied? Is that final?

No, that's just the COI's rebuttal to OM's appeal document. The appeal board is a different group of people, and their decision will come later.

Has there been any decision on OM vacating wins? Last year the COI decision mentioned a few years of OM using ineligible players then instructed OM to tell them which years/games they used ineligible players. Haven't seen any since or any reference in the documents released last week.

Any years any of the players that are listed in COI, would make the school vacate those wins.

No. That's not correct.

No. That's not correct.

Going by memory, OM should have to vacate all wins from 2010 through 2013, plus 6 wins from 2014. The NOAs stated that OM used ineligible players those years/games. I don't know if their 2015 or 2016 wins are affected.

Something tells me this will yet again be another source of disappointment.
