Stovall, Tim Dilliard of Ole Miss, Matt Wallner of USM, and Zach Shannon of Delta State should be candidates as well.

What happened to Dallas Woolfork, team USA guy at OM?

If Zach Shannon isn't the winner they should do away with the award.

I'd vote for rollison or Reynolds

Good question. I'm not sure but my guess is Bianco probably burned him out or just fell in love with Carracci.

Those are some ridiculous numbers. I would be ok with Shannon taking the Ferriss to Cleveland, MS

It's also nice that a Delta State player can win it.

Guy at Delta State wiht 27+ home runs should win it, maybe Sandlin.

Those look like pre BBCOR stats right there. That's absolutely insane.

I think Sadlin has to be considered. In addition to the great record and era, he has 97ks in only 10 appearances and 63 innings.

What would Shannon's stats look like against SEC competition?

I mean this sincerely - how different is the pitching he sees vs. the pitching our players see?

Sandlin was a Top-1000 recruit by perfect game, the 203rd rated RHP in Georgia in 2015, would have been a low priority walk-on for an SEC school

This dude is basically the USM Ross Mitchell in 2013/2014

Still think he would be successful. He was an UA All American out of high school that committed to tOSU. Don't know what happened to make him go JUCO, though.

I agree he would definitely be successful and would help our team out this year for sure. He had grade issues that sent him to JUCO. The kid was also 90-94 off the mound with an 83-85mph breaking ball out of high school. We could have definitely used him. Delta State got a steal in this kid.

Obviously he wouldn't have put up those numbers in the SEC but he would have definitely been one of our best hitters(probably our best).

I could see him being a 10-15 home run guy and playing first base for us. He's legit.

True. He's still got to park 'em though and he's done that. He's a player. I think he should win also.
