They pretty much got bit last time they did with Manziel. Probably afraid to get another one, especially one who's now controversial.

Coach34 is an idiot when it comes to NFL.

On another note, Chris Mortensen is getting old. Luckily for me I'm holding steady.

Seems like the buzz around a good many of the NFL "experts" is that Cleveland will definitely pick a quarterback as their first pick. Some think it will be Mayfield and some think otherwise.

Coach34 guaranteeing they would not pick a QB in round one was like predicting Bama wil go 0-12. Everybody knew they were picking one. Everybody knew it.

Literally the dumbest number one pick I?ve ever seen. You cannot tell me he wouldn?t have been available at 4 and they could have had him and Barkley. But I guess you can never have too many good cornerbacks so there?s that....

Cleveland definitely should've taken Saquon #1.

Mayfield and Ward?? Out of the possible options they could have gone with I think that's about as weak as you can get. You go 0-16 because your whole team sucks. Get Barkley, then draft a QB #4. Or take Chubb at 4. But this is just plain dumb.

Don't forget they have the best QB from the Bills, Tyrod Taylor. Dam well thats why they are the Browns.

I'm going to be so mad by the time we get to pick at #19. Jerry, Stephen, and Jason will screw it up. They're all the biggest jokes in the NFL. They are 2nd only to the Browns as far as worst upper management.

That's what I thought they should do too, but they knew who they wanted and went and got him. I had Baker #1 though at QB. And if you're number one at QB, you're usually #1 overall. Still think Sammy boy is over rated. Jets fans get screwed again.

Mayfield just seems way over hyped to me. He won’t be a train wreck like Manziel but he seems to be that same QB. If you are a professional team and pick a QB #1......take a pro style QB...Darnold.

He said they didn't intend to draft a QB. I said they did intend to draft a QB. His response was this:

Nooooooooo they dont.

They just signed Tyrod Taylor to a 2 year 30.5 Million dollar contract. He is their QB the next 2 years.

And to back him up- they just signed Drew Stanton to a 2 year 6.5MM dolla contract with incentives that could push it to #11MM

What about those 2 moves makes you think they are going to draft a QB early and take up even more cap room with millions on a draft pick? THE BROWNS ARE NOT DRAFTING A QB IN THE 1ST ROUND

I think mayfield is much better than you guys give him credit for. He has led the country in qb rating with 199 this year and 196 last season. The last player to break 190 was Russell Wilson in 2011 at 191. Coincidentally, I think Russell wilson is a very similar type player as mayfield

I like the pick. But I think they way overpaid by trading up to get him. I wouldn't have done it. I like Davenport a lot, but the Saints paid too high of a price.

I do think the Saints are willing to mortgage the future some to win now. They must take advantage of Brees' last year or two. The window is closing and they know it.

Cowboys will struggle as long as Puppet Garrett is coach. Only upside for a losing season is maybe that clown is run out of town, but I'm not holding my breath.

I felt Wyoming's Josh Allen was the best pure QB. I would have picked him #1. Mayfield is ok though. I like Mayfield's competitive fire......makes up for his shortcomings.

Doesn't bother me. If our front 7 is remotely decent, we got 'em. Just force Mr. Checkdown to throw the ball- though our cornerbacks are a travesty.

In reality, we'll probably get crushed all year- maybe then we can run yes man, Puppet, clown Garrett out of town!

Instead of the appropriate response ("you were right, and I'm a moron"), he would just reply that he's living rent free in your head, or something equally as stupid.
