....has MSU assigned to them. Been told on good authority that each one of these analysts has one SEC school they are responsible for, and all of them share the OOC teams. Basically, they follow up on and investigate every detail of their assigned teams and respective players for the entire season including summers. They know everything about key players.....whether they broke up with their girlfriend the week before they play BAMA, whether they got food poisoning on Friday before the game, whether they like to catch a ball across the middle or not, or if they are just plain pissed off at one of their coaches. Game film, paper clippings, radio shows, social media, message boards, friends, professors, or plain gossip are all fair game for these analysts to keep close track of their SEC opponents.....leading up to the BAMA game time. Notebooks full of info on MSU plays, diagrams, pass routes, running and blocking schemes, special team surprises, defensive alignments, etc, are reviewed and developed into incredibly detailed game planning for the Master of College Football.....Nicky Saban........ Guess ole Nicky better have his MSU analyst start reviewing all of Penn State's game films ASAP.....because the Dogs of War are coming!!!

Alabama Football Analysts for 2018...........Dean Altobelli, Brendan Farrell, Garrett Cox, Gordon Steele, August Mangin, Butch Jones, Jacob Peetz, and Louis Spanos.....

Well, we've played them 98 times and are 16-79-3 so I guess we don't fear the results, we just shake our head and get ready for the next beating.

No. I'm saying SaBear must be a Sun Tzu fan if he has all these analysts to study opponents.

That's not that bad; we could even the series by 2081 ....

It could very well be him since he coached with Shoop the last two years.

I'm actually surprised that Saban only has eight analysts. It seemed like the natural progression is to become a SEC coach, get fired, and then get hired as one of Saban's analysts. Unless you are Hugh Freeze and then Saban doesn't want to touch you.

He had the analyst reviewing Penn State film the day JoMo stepped off the plane in Mississippi.

The analyst position is just a "cover"... Those guys are actually assigned to each officiating crew to make certain they are "taken care of"....***

That's the reason BAMA wins games.

Analysts are sworn into the REC upon arrival. Once initiated, they are handed wads full of cash to give to referees and keys to Dodge Chargers (along with some of that cash of course) to give away to athletes. It's all part of Nick Saban's evil plan to rule the world. MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Want to beat them gotta play the same game. I don't knock them for taking advantage of every advantage they can find. That is what winners do they are constantly preparing and finding new ways to improve their craft.

They have some big names on there but certainly we could find some solid football minds that aren't as well known to do the same thing.

He did hire one of JoMo's coaches from Penn State to be a co-offensive coordinator and a position coach(tight ends, maybe) to take the on field position he wanted Freeze for I believe. That's gotta help a little.
